LabNet LIS (Receive Order)
Samples that are drawn from the Draw_Schedule are displayed here to be received into the lab. Upon being received, they are placed on the WorkList ready to be run on an analyzer. Bar coded samples can be read using a hand scanner to maximize Positive Patient Id. If a scanner is used virtually no manual input is required as the system will automatically search and receive a sample upon being scanned.
