LabSoft was founded in 1992 by company President Gary Yancich in response to growing demand for his software products. The company's first product - the BloodHound data management package – set new standards for LIS usability and pricing.  Since then, LabSoft’s ongoing commitment to creating user-friendly systems that streamline operations and increase efficiency has continued to result in successful technology implementations for hundreds of satisfied customers.  

 

In 1995, LabSoft introduced Beethoven LIS, which distinguished itself in the marketplace by providing multitasking capabilities that enable users to move effortlessly through the program.  Today, Beethoven continues to be one of the industry’s most advanced and reasonably priced single access point laboratory information systems In recent years, LabNet LIS, a Windows NT client server system, has emerged as Labsoft’s premier product.  LabNet combines ease of use with the versatility, power and high-speed volume required to meet even the most demanding laboratory needs. For smaller environments, EZLink LIS offers much of the same advanced technology in a lower priced, less complex package.  

Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, the company also operates an office near Denver, Colorado and has access to a distribution network of over 60 sales professionals located throughout the United States.
